Instructional Strategies
1. Clearly identify a bench to be used as a safe space. Educate the community about the benchÕs purpose. 2. The safe space is reserved for a young person to sit when they may need help, a friend to talk to, or any other social-emotional needs met.
Participant Tasks
1. Know which bench is used as a safe space. 2. Sit on the bench when you need help or a friend to talk to.
