Sotheby's is seeking a business-minded and self-motivated attorney to join its commercial team. The attorney will be part of a team responsible for supporting Sotheby's U.S-based commercial business operations, including all sale platforms, services and special events. The attorney will work within a global team of attorneys and other professionals to deliver high-quality legal and risk management services for the company. This position is based in New York City.
The proposed base salary for this position ranges from $160,000 - $200,000. In addition to base salary successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus, as well as a competitive benefits package. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
