What You Will Enjoy Doing

Main Responsibilities:

  • Procure materials, equipment, and services within established budgets, specifications, and timelines.
  • Evaluate supplier quotes, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and recommend suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
  • Issue and manage purchase orders, track order status, and resolve discrepancies in quantity, quality, or delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Maintenance, Production, Sales, and Quality) to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and process improvements in procurement operations.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in evaluating supplier performance and maintaining approved supplier lists.
  • Validate incoming PRs for completeness, accuracy, and clarity — including quantity, specifications, delivery dates, cost center, and approval status
  • Support audits, reporting, and other procurement-related administrative tasks as needed.
  • Follow up proactively on overdue or unconfirmed items to ensure timely fulfillment
  • Leverage ERP and e-procurement tools for efficient processing of PRs and POs

 

What Makes You Great

Education:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-year degree in finance, business administration, marketing or equivalent, preferred

Experience:  

  • Minimum 1-3 years of work experience

Skills:

  • Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage
  • Proficient in negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, supply chain processes, and ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective supplier and stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
