Data Engineer (AI/ML Pipelines) Contract to Hire Seffner, FL $48-67/hr.

Our client is seeking a Data Engineer (AI/ML Pipelines) in Seffner, FL .

Responsibilities

The Data Engineer AI/ML Pipelines is a pivotal role responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that support advanced analytics, machine learning, and real-time operational intelligence across enterprise systems. A key requirement for this role is hands-on experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), including the ability to ingest, normalize, and interpret data from WMS platforms to support business-critical operations.

Youll collaborate closely with software engineers, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to drive initiatives in data transformation, governance, and automation. The role offers exposure to cutting-edge cloud-based technologies, direct mentorship, and well-defined pathways for advancementincluding growth into senior or lead data engineering roles, specialization in machine learning engineering, or transition into software engineering roles.

Skills & Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, cloud-based data processing, and AI/ML workflows
• Demonstrated ability to independently build production-grade data pipelines
• Deep knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT, and data architecture in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data engineering best practices.
