Job Title: Finance and Insurance Writer
Report to: Finance Director / General Sales Manager Job Description: A. Coordinates activities regarding Finance and Insurance. 1. Works with customers to obtain financing through lenders on automobile purchases in conformance with state and federal law. 2. Prepares all state and federal documents regarding automobile purchases in a timely manner and in accordance with established law and procedures. 3. Offers extended service contracts to customers. 4. Offers protection products as offered by dealership. 5. Sells chemical packages. 6. Performs his or her work in conformance with all legal requirements. 7. Keeps accurate bushing logs; ensures financing approval obtained in a timely manner. 8. Ensure all deals are done in a timely manner a. Deal Approval b. Ensure down payment is in c. Properly and timely notification to customer if unable to obtain financing. d. Ensure contract is submitted to bank within 2 days e. Ensure funding is obtained within 5 days f. Obtain Stips 9. Performs other tasks as assigned. B. Conforms to the company's policy on nondiscrimination and harassment. C. Works in a cooperative and professional manner with all personnel. D. Maintains a professional demeanor while on the job and treats members of the public in a courteous and non-discriminatory manner. E.
