We are seeking an experienced Gas Engine Heavy Line Technician to join our service team. Position Summary:

The Gas Engine Heavy Line Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing major engine, transmission, and driveline concerns in accordance with Ford Motor Company standards. This position requires advanced technical skills and strong experience with complex mechanical and powertrain systems.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and overhaul engines, transmissions, drivetrains, and other major vehicle systems.
• Perform complex engine and mechanical diagnostics using Ford factory equipment (IDS, FDRS, and PTS).
• Accurately document all work performed and recommended repairs.
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and other technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge through Ford factory training and certifications.
• Adhere to safety and cleanliness standards in the service area.
• Ensure all work meets Ford Motor Company and dealership quality expectations.

• Ford Certified Technician (Master or Senior Master preferred but not mandatory).
• Minimum of 1 years of experience as an automotive or heavy line technician (Ford experience strongly preferred).
• Proficient with Ford diagnostic systems and technical service bulletins.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding repairs.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen prior to employment.
