Summary

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner Preceptor (MD/DO, LMHC, NP or PA) to join our innovative team at MatchNP. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting nurse practitioner students by providing guidance and mentorship during their clinical placements. Your expertise will help shape the future of nursing and ensure that students gain the hands-on experience needed to thrive in the healthcare field. **Your current employer must support precepting. MatchNP does not provide the clinical site.**

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to nurse practitioner students during their placements at your current place of employment.
  • Assist in developing individualized learning plans that align with each student's clinical goals.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of student performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards during clinical training.

Requirements

  • Current Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant or Medical license in the United States.
  • Strong background in medical documentation and patient care management.
  • 1 year post graduation experience (Required)
  • Excellent communication skills for effective mentoring and collaboration with students and staff.
