Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage office and field crew staff, ensuring the efficient and accurate completion of various survey types, including plat, boundary, topographic, route, tree/vegetation, legal/sketches, easements, record drawing, and construction surveys.
• Conduct quality assurance/quality control field reviews, preparing proposals, and training and assisting field associates and drafting personnel.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, communicating project progress and addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
• Remain current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the highest level of service and compliance.
• Collaborate with other department leaders to optimize workflows, enhance team performance, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the firm.

Qualifications:

• State of Florida Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) license or a valid license in another state eligible for transfer to Florida.
• Strong understanding of the surveying and mapping industry for both design and construction work, with a minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software programs.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet the requirements of a drug-free workplace.

Compensation:

• Negotiable pay scale based on knowledge, experience, and ability.
