Route Delivery Driver

Successful candidates will report to work Monday through Friday with hours from 730am to 430 pm, no over nights required. This is a great job for a person who wants to get in shape and stay in shape. This is a highly active job for someone who likes to stay busy and likes to work. Candidate will be able to deliver 50 lb bags of salt and bottles of water into customers home and businesses while driving a beverage body style truck. They will sometimes use a cart to aid them in making their deliveries. They will need good communication skills while assessing and fulfilling the needs of the customers in a positive fashion with a positive attitude. They will record all transactions of their days route through the use of an electronic tablet. They will load and unload their truck each day with the aid of a forklift. At the end of the day they will complete their paperwork and electronic data transfers.

• Able to handle difficult customers with diplomacy and tact
• Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures
• Recognizes and understands product numbers and alpha/numeric codes
• Working knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations
• Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills
• Pass a drug screen, background check, and pre-employment physical screening
• Iowa residents are required to have a chauffer's license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
