Job Description

The Company:

Czarnowski is one of the four studios of the Czarnowski Collective. It combines operations, strategy, design, and fabrication to create exhibits and events that engage communities, generate brand enthusiasm, and educate consumers. It’s been over 75 years since we opened our doors, but we’re still not resting on our reputation or accolades. We’re wondering “what if...” anticipating what’s next and embracing our role within the Czarnowski Collective as forward-thinkers for forward-thinking brands.

Joining the Czarnowski Collective means the opportunity to be more than a number, more than a job title, more than a spectator. We are a collective of dreamers and thinkers, doers, and makers…and we’re searching for more of the same to join the ranks.

The Purpose:

The Senior Event Account Manager is responsible for leading complex event programs from initial strategy through flawless execution. This role will manage high-value client relationships, provide strategic guidance, oversee cross-functional teams, and ensure all event deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, creativity, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in large-scale event production, advanced project management capabilities, and a proven ability to drive client success. This role reports to the VP, Operations – West.

The Job:

  • Serve as the primary strategic partner for clients, advising on event objectives, experience design, scope, and execution plans.
  • Lead client discovery, define event goals, and translate vision into clear deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
  • Develop, present, and maintain comprehensive event proposals, SOWs, budgets, and program documentation.
  • Oversee cross-functional internal teams—including creative, production, account services, and operations—to ensure alignment and seamless execution.
  • Manage all event logistics at a senior level, including vendor negotiations, venue management, permitting, compliance, and risk mitigation planning.
  • Build and manage detailed production schedules, ensuring all milestones, dependencies, and deadlines are met.
  • Maintain full ownership of event financials, monitor spend, forecast costs, and ensure programs are delivered within budget.
  • Provide on-site leadership during event execution, directing staff, vendors, and partners while resolving issues in real time.
  • Conduct post-event recaps, financial reconciliation, and strategic evaluations to support continuous improvement.
  • Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and vendors to support growth and ongoing business opportunities.
The Person:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of progressive experience in event management, experiential marketing, or large-scale event production.
  • Proven experience leading major corporate or experiential events with multiple stakeholders and complex logistics.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and client-management skills.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience managing large budgets and forecasting.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project management platforms.
  • Experience with CRM and event management tools (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite, FreshDesk, Smartsheet).
  • Understanding of event marketing, audience engagement strategies, and brand experience development.
  • Experience managing corporate, experiential, sporting, or high-profile large-scale events.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence decision-making, and provide mentorship to junior staff.
This senior-level role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities, exceptional client service instincts, and the capability to deliver innovative, high-quality event experiences that exceed expectations.
