Job Details:

• Work 3 x 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
\n• Weekend requirement: every other Saturday/Sunday with holidays as needed
\n• Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
\n• Occasional floating required
\n• 12-hour orientation provided
\n• One pre-approved time off request allowed
\n• Self-scheduling system
\n• 44-bed ICU unit with daily census of 40 adult patients
\n• 2 years of experience required
\n• Travel experience required
\n• CA RN licensure required
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, Epic experience
\n• Certifications required within specified timeframes: PALS (within 180 days), TNCC (within 180 days), NIHSS (within 90 days)
\n• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
\n• 50-mile travel requirement
\n• Nursys verification within last 2 weeks required
\n• Accountable for assessment, coordination, delivery and evaluation of nursing care in acute patient setting
\n• Deliver holistic and individualized care incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
\n• Foster collaborative relationships between patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers
\n• Extensive ICU skills required including ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, and cardiac monitoring
