First Connect Health is seeking a travel Surgical First Assistant for a travel job in Midland, Michigan.

Travel Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) – Operating Room

Location: Midland, MI

Schedule
  • 10-hour Day Shifts: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • 40 hours guaranteed
  • 1–2 nights of call per week
  • Every 4th weekend call
  • No local candidates (50-mile radius restriction)
Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeon intraoperatively with exposure, hemostasis, closure, suturing, stapling, suctioning, retracting, and tissue handling
  • Prepare surgical suite and ensure all instruments, supplies, and equipment are available and functional
  • Support patient positioning, transport, and perioperative care
  • Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and operative techniques
Requirements
  • 2+ years CSFA experience – required
  • Active NBSTSA or ABSA certification – required
  • BLS (AHA) – required
  • Prior travel experience preferred
  • Permanent address required for submission
