This role is for a board certified or eligible Family Medicine physician with Obstetrics training to join a rural health system delivering comprehensive outpatient care. The position offers a supportive environment with access to advanced diagnostics, integrated behavioral health, and various specialty telemedicine services, with no required call schedule. It also serves as a teaching center with opportunities to work alongside residents and medical students while enjoying the natural and cultural amenities of North Central Idaho.

Seeking board certified or eligible, residency trained Family Medicine with Obstetrics Physician to join our team.

Join a team of 8 Family Medicine physicians, 6 APPs and a General Surgeon to deliver high quality comprehensive outpatient care. Practice in our state of the art new outpatient facilities to have joyful and meaningful work while impacting the health and lives of our community. This position does not require call, however can be structured to include other elements of FM care as desired. • Hospital licensed for Acute Care and Skilled Care.
• Satellite clinics primarily staffed with advanced practice professionals. Physicians rotate 1 or 2 days/month to satellite clinics
• Four-bay emergency department with approximately 4,000 visits/year.
• Radiology service: CAT scan on-site with 24 hour availability of service. Ultrasound on site, technician available 5 days /week. ECHO available 2 x /week. Mobile Mammography and MRI. Tele-radiology.
• On-site lab
• Integrated Behavioral Health
• Nurse Case Management
• Community Health Workers
• Diabetic Educators and Dietitians
• Tele-medicine access to Pediatric and Adult Psychiatry, Cardiology, Nephrology, Sleep Medicine and Oncology
• PT services for inpatients and outpatients with new outpatient PT facility.
• OB suite/average 60 deliveries/year.
• Secondary referral hospital in Lewiston, ID, with 45 min transport time by ground; Tertiary hospital for cardiac/trauma in Coeur d Alene, ID with a 45 min transport time by helicopter.
• Clinic 4 days/week. Average number clinic visits per practitioner, approximately 15-18/day.

For summer time, there is water skiing, camping, white water rafting or sitting by the lake. For winter, there are 5 snow skiing resorts within 2 hours of downtown. There are numerous great restaurants and a variety of cultural events that come to town each month. There are 3 major universities that serve our area, plus a great public and private school system.
