Job Details:

\n

• Work night shifts Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM
\n• Verify patient identification using professional methods and obtain patient history
\n• Document pregnancy status on patients of childbearing age
\n• Demonstrate knowledge of MRI technology and cross-sectional human anatomy
\n• Operate MRI scanners and be proficient in automatic injections of MRI contrast
\n• Maintain competency with disc drives, gateways, PACS and laser printers
\n• Interpret protocols and select appropriate scanning parameters
\n• Administer oral contrast to adult and pediatric patients according to protocols
\n• Establish intravenous lines and administer IV contrast following safe injection procedures
\n• Maintain thorough understanding of PACS and transmit images to QC, EMR, EPIC and PACS
\n• Verify and segment images at QC station and access IMPAX service tools
\n• Complete, modify and/or cancel orders in appropriate and timely manner
\n• Produce quality diagnostic images and review patient charts for correlation
\n• Maintain clean and orderly work environment
\n• Precept new employees and students
\n• Must be registered with American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible
\n• Requires advanced certification in MR within one year of employment
\n• Must maintain current competency in HCP BLS
\n• Completion of accredited educational program in Radiological Science required
