ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Kansas City, Missouri.

\nRegistered Nurse - PCU
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Patient ratio of 1:5 across all shifts
\n• 2 years of nursing experience required with previous charge and teaching hospital experience preferred
\n• 8 weekend shifts required in 6-week schedule period (combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
\n• Holiday shifts and charge RN assignments as needed per unit
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
\n• Must be comfortable with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, telemetry monitoring
\n• Experience required with post-cardiac procedures, IV insulin protocols, feeding tube management, hemodialysis management
\n• Competency needed in blood product administration, central line care, PICC line management, starting IVs
\n• Must manage heparin protocols, cardiac drips, PCA, procedural sedation administration
\n• Experience with chest tubes, CPAP/BIPAP, high flow nasal cannula, tracheostomy management required
\n• Floating may be required between departments, units and facilities as needed
\n• Must hold both Kansas and Missouri nursing licenses or compact license
\n• Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract
\n• Maximum 7 days request time off allowed
\n• Epic charting system experience required
\n• 12 hours of orientation provided
\n• Adult and geriatric patient population
\n• First-time travelers accepted
