Summary

This is a small, charming book with wonderful illustrations by the author on each page. It can easily be read by even the youngest reader. Or it can be read to children as young as 3. I showed it to a 5 year old and he read it with ease. Carolan tells a story about a little world populated by square, triangular, round, and rectangular people. These different people then all meet and are faced with new and strange sights and experiences. They discover that some shapes work better together than alone: “A triangle and a circle make an ice cream cone!” Can they accept their differences and learn to live together peacefully?
