Participants learn to continue the revision process from the first draft through peer sharing, revision, editing, and publishing.

Instructional Strategies

1. When assigning a writing task, break it up into the following components: Pre-Write; First Draft; Mini Lesson; Peer Share; Revise; Edit; Publish. 2. To Pre-Write, participants research, brainstorm, and outline their ideas. 3. Then they write their First Draft. 4. You will deliver a mini-lesson based on common grammatical or other writing errors. 5. Participants then read each otherÕs work during a Peer Share. 6. Next, participants Revise, Edit, and finally Publish!

Participant Tasks

1. Beak up your writing assignments into the following components: Pre-Write; First Draft; Mini Lesson; Peer Share; Revise; Edit; Publish. 2.
