Summary

The clear purpose of the Tribes process is to assure the healthy development of every child so that each one has the knowledge, skills and resiliency to be successful in a rapidly changing world. Tribes is designed to be unlike “fix-it” programs that target student violence, drug abuse, etc. rather choosing to focus on creating a positive environment to improve student behavior and learning. The program is a teacher training rather than a curriculum.
