"What Would They Say?"
Activity
Summary
Youth participants will think about how they want to be seen and how they want to impact their community and environment. When youth think more carefully about the effects of their actions and decisions, they begin to move and speak with greater care and mindfulness.
Instructional Strategies
1. Ask youth participants to think critically about how others might respond to their words and actions by asking, ÃWhat would they say or think if you did or said _____?
2. Expand the effect of the activity by asking, ÃWhat do you think your teacher, parent, or coach would say about that decision?
