Summary

Last year, my students brainstormed their ideas of peace. They created artwork and a video detailing their visions. Then they researched peace builders throughout the world (and throughout history), and conducted in-depth studies of these individuals’ lives, motivations, challenges, and legacies. They presented to one another and created websites about their peace builders. It was an incredible and highly impactful process! Manoa Elementary, Honolulu, Hawaii.
