Purpose & Method
To promote Peace & Pono (goodness, righteousness) through our words and actions
Ensure all students feel safe within our school environment
Proactive approach to being bully free
Not introducing a new program or curriculum
Complementing other character ed programs
Adding in deeper understanding of PEACE

Guidance & Student Council:
The school counselors will be incorporating Peace & Pono into our upcoming guidance classroom lessons
Student Council (3rd to 5th graders)
Have formed a new Peace Committee; Create activities around the 6 Pillars of Character: Trustworthiness; Respect; Responsibility; Fairness; Caring; Citizenship; Will also discuss 7 Ceeds.

Starting Small!
We are bringing awareness of “Peace & Pono” by incorporating it into some activities/initiatives that we already had planned
