Summary

“Students Stay Woke” uplifts the voice of the student body and offers a platform for all students to discuss real issues that really matter in their school. It will also be a platform for peer mediation, once the students are adequately trained. This is in contrast to the traditional student council, which is often an exclusive group voted in based on popularity, where the agenda and topics (often items like prom theme and pep rallies) aren’t very important, in their eyes.
