Ceeds of Peace is pleased to announce the launch of our newest project: Designing A Stronger Tomorrow.

Mahalo to the Nā Lei Aloha Foundation for making this effort a reality! Through our newest project, Designing A Stronger Tomorrow, Ceeds of Peace will bring community together to offer inspiration from renowned peacebuilders, tools to build peace in our community, and a collaborative action planning process around 4 community topics: Reimagining a Post-COVID Economy, Reimagining Education, Reimagining Racial Justice, and Reimagining Climate Action.

Each of our five workshop sessions consists of two segments:
1) Speakers will inspire our guests through their insight and experience as peacebuilding leaders. Speakers include Ceeds of Peace co-founders Dr. Maya Soetoro & Dr. Kerrie Urosevich, as well as community organizers, innovators, and peacebuilders Aunty Pua Burgess, Olin Lagon, and Dr. Kealoha Fox.

2) If you are interested, contact us about Ceeds of Peace facilitators leading breakout action planning rooms. Each breakout room is separated by topic. Our facilitated action planning process results in each participant leaving with two action plans — an individual one that looks within oneself and a collaborative one that looks out to the community.

The fifth and final session will be a public share-out at which the plans are pitched to the public. Over the next weeks, we’ll be sharing more information about our action planning groups, as they design to build more peaceful communities.

Mahalo also to our partners — The Institute for Climate and Peace and Spark M. Matsunaga Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution for the support!
